Honest Feedback
![]()
Another week, another Monday, another Monday Morning Minute. “Just last night I was sitting at the table when… and so on and so forth……”
Here I am sharing about my life week after week. But there is a piece missing in this dialogue. What I am equally curious about is you, how you are and what you are needing. I am interested and curious as to how I can be of service to you.
You see the MMM was created as a vehicle for me to share with you and get feedback from you. It was created to be a way of connecting….and anyone who knows me KNOWS that I am all about connecting with people.
This is the most essential part of my business and I realize it’s been way too long since I’ve stopped and asked about you and really connected with who you are and what you face each day.
So this week I’m asking….. and I’m curious about a few specifics. Tell me, friend, if you will.
1. What are the biggest challenges you’ve been facing at work?
2. What would you like to see offered in my 2007 products and services that would be of value and support to you?
3. What would you like included in the MMM that would be helpful to you that is not being included now?
What I know about connecting and friendship and support is that it is based on relationship… and relationship is a two-way deal. You have heard from me for a while. You know my commitment to you and to the idea that you will never ‘work alone’. Now I would love to hear from you. Tell me your story, your hopes, your dreams, and your fears. We are in this together.
I look forward to hearing from each of you. Please post your answers in the comment box below.

Hi Jason,
Always look forward to MMM as a moment to centre myself for the week ahead. I run a creative web agency based in Folkestone, Kent UK. A team of 7 that works with a number of clients that we “really click with”. We now have 10 years experience of “clicking with our clients” to integrate their web strategy with their overall marketing strategy allowing them to stay focused on their core business.
Bit of feedback as requested…

1. What are the biggest challenges you’ve been facing at work?
**I help to run the front office of a rapidly growing dermatology clinic. I’ve always been the “go-to gal” but we are growing so quickly that I am no longer able to complete both my work and all of the “extra duties” it had been my pleasure to take on. The stress of trying to get everything done to my high standards is wearing me out physically and emotionally.
2. What would you like to see offered in my 2007 products and services that would be of value and support to you?
** I would be interested in more time management tools, more “learning to say no” techninques, and ways to improve one’s feelings of self worth.
3. What would you like included in the MMM that would be helpful to you that is not being included now?
**I enjoy what you send out. Perhaps just a bit more of the above items.
Thanks Jason!

Hi Jason!
1. What are the biggest challenges you’ve been facing at work?
I am a massage therapist who loves my work, and the people I work with. Lately I’ve been struggling with eczema, however, which at times threatens my ability to work! I haven’t yet figured out the whole story behind it, but I know stress is a factor…
2. What would you like to see offered in my 2007 products and services that would be of value and support to you?
….So I appreciate any and all stress management, stress reduction, and other grounding/big-picture-type perspectives & inspiration & techniques you share!
3. What would you like included in the MMM that would be helpful to you that is not being included now?
Thanks!
It’s hard to think of anything you could add, which wouldn’t make it too long! You do a great job of starting the week with QUICK but SATISFYING food for thought!

Hi Jason-
Thanks for the invitation to respond– and what a smart way to do anacedotal research from your target audience!
The biggest challenges I’m facing at work are #1 working in silos, not in a team oriented environment and #2 receiving no communication plan from senior management on company changes.
Products and services you could offer that would help me would come in the form of workshops on meditation, NVC in the workplace (when others don’t know the skills), and a book that I could read, hightlight enjoy and pass along to others who would be open to your gift of connection.
I really love the MMM! It’s so inspiring and you do an amazing job of addressing issues I stuggle with each week. It might be fun to have a “task” or assignment each week that pertains to the message. This might be a way to get folks (who are WAN members and subscribers to the MMM) to create dialog about thier assignment with others on the water cooler– or spark additional dialog.
Thank you for proving the MMM as a great resource to me and our community.
Sincerely,
Paula

Jason, Thanks for asking about what yor readers face day to day in work.
My biggest challenge is that I do work alone. I have to say my concept of that has changed in the last year or so because of the support that you offer in the MMM and elsewhere in your trainings. I have learned compassion for myself and my business. I have learned to reach out ( even via the cyberworld) and to recieve what is there for me in support and connection. I have learned that we all are pretty much in the same boat, so that I can “play forward” the inspiration and vision that is birthed in me and it inspires others….and so on. I love that each week I feel that the MMM was written just for me! And then I hear a collegue say that it was written “just for them’. To quote a wise man….”How great is THAT?”
I would also like to see a book (are you writing one?)…that I could take and revisit all the wisdom and share with my community. Focusing on the vision, staying on task , not settleing for less than my dream….These are all things that I love to be supported in.
I liked it when you would share a good resource that you had found or read or experienced. I am all about networking the best things in life. The MMM is one of them! Thank you for your vision!
